Nah, logically any vinyl version would have to be sourced from badly scratched cds, complete with perfectly reproduced digital noise. And thus the circle will be complete.
Yes, in all likelihood, they will probably be sourced from the recent CD releases. Or maybe they will be MBV-style double packs with record 1 being mastered from said CD, while record 2 is sourced "straight from vinyl" so that you can hear the clicks & pops in audiophile clarity.

I guess it would be surreal if any of it were actually true.
Is this Warner's way of 'fixing the problem' with the cds? Put in purposeful scratches on the vinyl where the annoying ticks are on the cds?

I come across these a lot in record shops. Never botherd to buy them or listen, because I am happy with the original Factory vinyl. But... Am I missing something? Are they just vinyl copies of the faulty remasters, or remasters from more original sources? Anyone here owning these reissues?
From everything I've read/been told, these vinyl reissues are invariably of indifferent quality at best and exist primarily to seduce overpaid wankers who are oblivious to the recession to part with their money for overpriced tat. Less gloriously minty mint and more runty cunty cunt.
And, as such, the only valid response is: fuck off.
They royally screwed up the artwork typography on the Low-life one.
It's such an glaring error too:

not even a simple visual inspection!
Like others I've not felt the need to invest because the Factory ones I already own are most likely more than adequate sound-wise. Plus I don't really use vinyl at all.
