Yes, there is still a few.

I might have been the only one who noticed that the logon count wasn't increasing since we switched host. This is now fixed (and I can continue my quest to be the #1 logon user!), as the last logon date, your precious IP to detect if you're a fraud, and other statistics.

You probably have noticed the nice little icons in the forums, well, I think they are better than what used to be here.

The rest will follow as soon as I have time. You can also notice the forum list now supports multiple moderators, which wasn't the case!

I also added some smilies, but you already know that :cowboy:

My big priority is to be able to split the threads in several parts to speed up the loading of huge threads, and be able to automatically move you to the first unread post of that thread, this should be a little challenge, I will try to do it, but this is done with the date you last visited this forum, not that thread, nothing's perfect.. it would be a lot of cookie abuse to do the other. I will allow to switch that off of course if you find it annoying.

The search will also be a priority, it's the display that will be long to do, but I'll do my best. I will also add a nice function for our moderator to allow them to move threads to another forum when it is more suitable for another.

Since there wasn't much replies concerning my post about modifications, I will rest a little.

I have fixed a few problem with the forum that have been there since the beginning.

You can now select the "time frame" correctly, I mean, if you wish to see the posts of the last day or all the posts, it's up to you, it WORKS correctly.

In fact, there was a bug reported by Klumpy a while ago that old posts were not accessible, that was the problem, the amount of pages was based on the amount of posts in total, not for the time frame you have selected, and you were losing the time frame each time.

Now, even the first post of them is available on page 71 (!) when you select all topics.

I made that suggestion months ago, and if I remember correctly at the time, we were afraid that people wouldn't be putting their pictures up if they were so apparent!

But I still think it might be a nice addition! :)

Hence the point of the "avatar" in my previous post. It's a picture you can upload (small) and show IF YOU WANT, might be the thumbnail, might be something else....

Here you go.

You can technically switch YOUR off in your account settings, I didn't do yet the part to hide all of them.

And they are the picture's thumbnails, I'd like to make those independent sometime..

Basically because the thumbnails aren't generated automatically, they are done manually by myself.. so when you upload your picture, it can take a little while to actually see the change.

Nice pic , depthcharge, of Darnell Hillman from Indiana of the old American Basketball Association. It seems like about a third of the league had fros like that. God I miss that league, and remembering that is part of what makes the NBA unwatchable.

Oh yes, and now if you have unchecked the checkbox in the profile edition page saying "Publish My Profile", it actually does work.. it will be no longer seen in the fanclub or accessible anywhere.

I just left the picture in the forum, I like seeing the Pringles logo when Huntsman is posting !! :lol:

Yup, all I can see is a great big badge too!

My avatar doesn't match my profile picture, but that's because I changed it recently and I think Nic said something about it taking several months to update.....or something.

Nic/Seb with these new enhancements in particular the private message feature on each message..... is there any way that its possible to know when a member is online visiting the site in order to private message them much more quickly ? Just a thought I just had

That could certainly be done, for instance like adding a small "Online" icon next to their user names in the forum and Fan Club -- a bit like we're already doing with those who have ICQ installed (the small ICQ flower in their profiles let people know if they are online -- the flower is red when they're offline, green when they're online...).
