We NEED a tribute band started....if only fer the excuse of a weekend piss up....I did mention this to Mr Reilly
guitar, clarinet and a little piano...haven't touched an instrument in months...last i checked i was trying to figure out new dawn fades on guitar.

Well, I'm almost ashamed of saying it, but I do, indeed, play the flute and clarinet.
It's been a while, but I can catch up :D
Drums, percussion: (African and Latin - djembe, bongos, timbales, tambres, talking drums, marimba, sirdos, repiniques, cutadors, ganzas, agogobells, etc) keyboards, accordian, bass guitar (simple basslines only of course)....plus.....bin lids, pots and pans, bottles and other plastic containers, wheelie bins, stuffed puffins, tuned implements, pitchforks, lawnmowers.....

wow, a guy who plays flute...when i was in the school band, it was all girls who played the flute. i only remember one other male who played the flute.
I can't sing or play any instruments! I have no musical talent. 
I am thinking about attempting to learn how to play the guitar. If only I had a good singing voice!

I play guitar .. The band that I play in are going into the studio tomorrow to record our version of 'Age of Consent' for an upcoming tribute album ... Hopefully we won't murder what is one of my fav songs !!

Hey there Kimberley - welcome back Not heard from you in a while! I wouldn't worry about not having a good singing voice, but if you are serious about learning guitar, I am happy to help out with NO/JD chords and tabs if you need 'em.

I went to an all-boys high school :D Chose music instead of arts because I am TERRIBLE in any art.. as you can see by the design of this website.
But it's the traversial flute, not the other one.. (don't know if that's how we call it in english, but..)
I can play the kazoo...
and years ago, I could play the violin...but I haven't picked one of those up in...jeez...20 years or so...

At the risk of being called a parasite etc (which I already have been!), any musical NO fan around London fancy forming a tribute act? I saw an ad in Loot (free ads paper) looking for members to form a Joy Division tribute but I'm after a vocalist and possibly a bass player to play NO stuff (with a bit of JD thrown in). This is a serious proposition. Chris Nash: what say you?
Give me a shout if you're interested?

Largely depends on your Rugby League tastes !!!
I know that plans are afoot for certain people from this board to form a tribute band in light of the successful Homage gig in Manchester. The people you need to contact would appear to be Hanrijk B (Martin Gray from Gold Blade), Jim Reilly and Fred West (though I gather he is banned from this site). Jim and Fred are both South London based, Jim plays bass and Fred does guitar and vocals.
