Well...after the move this weekend, and a desperate search for my list (not wanting to duplicate another song) I have finally found it, and I'm ready to give it a go...

this one isn't anything close to widely known, but it is a good one, even if that is only in my own jaded opinion, but since I'm in charge of this gig for now, I guess I can pick just about anything I frigging want to....

so for the 24th song, I choose....

Instrumental start and ending, especially ending.

It's very slow paced.

Why you love it or hate it

Usually I don't care much for B-Sides, but this one is cleary a gem hidden as a b-side, hopefuly released on Substance. Would love to listen to this live. I think Monaco did it.

Packing & Unpacking... especially packing in the last 2 days and being bored, surrounded by boxes the day after.

Classic from start to finish. Best bit trying to sing along to some of the live performances where Barney really 'spits' out those lyrics. And gurns a lot.
The title. Too synonymous with Elvis. Terribly cheesy title.
Love it! And one I'd LURV to see back live again - so much more than it's A-side. Not really a fan of slow songs as a rule, but love this one to bits.

Intro to this is superb, but I love line "How many times before, could you tell I didn't care" spat out with the disgust it was clearly intended for! A great lyrical attempt from The Barnster :nod: The music speaks fer itself!

Worst thing, tricky, I usually have a few beers before the gigs, so I'm not sure whether I've ever heard it live :nonono: If I haven't, that would be the worst thing :nod: If I have heard it live, the worst thing was that the general public never got a chance to hear this subtle masterpiece;)

Love it - can't think of a specific reason - just a classic from beginning to end

Don't talk to me about fucking moving :nonono: I move from here on Friday or Saturday to temporary accomodation with the Grandparents! Secured a mortgage agreement this morning - so I'm on the look out fer a house at the moment! Should be settled in month or two

Best bits for me are the lyrics and the loping tempo.

Worst bit is the grunt that Barney sings after the first line in the second verse.

Love it for these lyric:

Rating 90%. When I bought the 12 of Thieves, I actually played LT first, and as a result have always preferred the b-side to the a-side.

Worst part of moving is the heavy furniture. That, and if you've got a lot of vinyl, one tends to forget how heavy that is all told. Luckily, I haven't had to move for quite awhile.

What is the worst thing about moving?

Man, I just moved. The worst thing is taking the 2person sized bed and carrying it up to the third floor, just as when you get to second floor, you see the bed won't pass up the stairs, it's too large... So you leave it at second floor. Worst is to open a new line phone, fill in papers... I hate that. :(

Worst bit - the fact they don't play it anymore
Like/hate - classic New Order formula. Big bass, washy string synths, simple guitar pattern, plaintive but shite lyrics.

Try a king size bed through the stairs, there were 4 people pushing it to squeeze it in there :D
