Bernard Sumner unplugged - blimey, that'll be good! :)
Unfortunately, SkyArts isn't a free channel, so can't get it via Virgin/NTL without subscribing to it... Not sure it's really worth it for one programme?
I'm sure somebody out there with a subscription to it will upload it via YouTube? (Fingers crossed)

Anyone know when he is on?
The Sky Arts website is a flippin disaster!

It is a bit crap, isn't it?
According to the listings for the next couple of weeks, Albert Hammond is the current showing (it seems to get repeated every day), and the next one is Donovan (again, a daily showing - obviously not a lot of programmes on Sky Arts!)
As to when Bernard's show is on, your guess is as good as mine!

It's a thursday night programme at 20:00,repeatedon Saturdays same time-ish. Albert Hammond, Donovan and then Ian Broudie...
... unless it's this evenings programme titled What the Dickens?
More about the programme here...

It seems that Bernard's will be showing around middle to end of March. Should be interesting though, each artist plays 4 songs at the end of the show acoustically. Wonder whether he'll be on keys or guitar?
Very interested but I'd rather eat my own arm than pay for Sky TV.
I'm sure whoever manages to torrent it for the regulars will be very popular.
I used to say the same about Sky.
Then I used Sky+ at my brother's house.
Well, that changed everything. ![]()
Getting SkyHD in July ![]()
I am really excited about this...hopefully someone will put it on youtube! Bernard is a fantastic songwriter so it will be really interesting to hear him talk about his songs and play them in this setting.

I wonder if he'll perform Jizzstream and Dracula's Fookin Castle? ![]()

No, but it would be interesting to hear him perform tracks like True Faith, Regret, WFTSC, Temptation, Vanishing Point, BLT, ect. Those are great songs, songs that he wrote most of the music to, and they also feature some of his best and most interesting lyrics. I'd be interested in hearing about them.
For the record, I happen to love Jetstream. I think its a great pop song.
Hi everyone,
I am new here and I wanted to let you know that all the previous episodes of Songbook are available for download on http://thebox.bz and I expect that the episode with Bernard will be uploaded there immediately after it airs.
It's Thursday 5th March at 8pm (apparently)...
(Repeated over the following week on a daily basis)

Yes thanks for the texts Shug and Gazman, but I am a pauper.

I usually hate Sky for the repeats, but for one I'm happy!
Nice to hear him singing acoustic stuff. New song on now sounds very 'Electronic-esque' - he does like singing about Jesus!!
