I know this may sound a bit silly and I should probably know the answer but what version of Ceremony features on Substance. I have a 12" that has a mainly white sleeve with a blue and black stripe on it if I remember rightly (I've recently moved flats and all my vinyl is tucked away) but I also know there was a green cover. The 12" version that I have is a far better version, more atmospheric and harder sounding, than the version on Substance. Was the Substance version the 7"?

OK, I'll get me coat but this has always intrigued me.

If I'm not mistaking, the version you have is the first one New Order recorded and released before Gillian joined the band. The one on Substance was the one recorded with Gillian.
