Alert to all Aussies NOOL - Bernard Sumner's Songbook on ABC2 in July

Finally, the SONGBOOK season featuring Barney arrived. Starts with Jarvis Cocker tonight and a quick check on ABC2 website shows Barney is on July 10. Lets hope the website is correct cuz TV advertised Jarvis on tonight but website shows Albert Hammond I quite like THE STROKES so would have been good to watch A. H. Jr's dad on...in fact way back when I was a tiny kid, I used to know some words to that classic 'It never rains in Southern Cali...'

The SONGBOOK episode I managed to catch on ABC2 couple years ago featured Gary Kemp - it was interesting and to hear his vocal version of 'True' was worth it!

Anyways, lets hope come July 10th, we'll get Bernard Sumner on our local teevee

But mostly everyone has seen it already, the whole thing is on youtube and on blogs, but thanks any way.

Thanks for the headsup on that one Snickers, will have the DVD recorder set up for that.

I believe the thread title was "Alert to all Aussies" rather than "Alert to all Peanuts".

Thanks for the heads up Snicko. Some of us appreciate the chance to see it in broadcast audio/video quality without crap compression.
