Right you are Hanky, but he's hardly been prolific has he? MITA and Be Yourself are two of my favourite all time house tunes mind you.
Good times are round the corner..

As such, I have been left with excess egg yolk covering my chin. I have indeed not spotted the woodlice for the sake of a few twigs. So okay I think I've got it now. Barney is selecting some neat classics he's put on at Hooky's house after a night out chasing mice. Again, I fear a selection not unlike 'Club Classics Volume 987 2002 from 'Tatfight' in Ibiza' (including exclusive re-mixes by Terry Anderton and Candy Floss Jones) and 'The Power Rat Stomp Sit Session' by Smoky Synth Tapper and the Retro-fits etc. etc.If only big Lionel's "Hello there, was it you I was looking for to create me a classy looking potrait out of clay even though you can only see straight through one eye" was in the mix.Rocko, your are a mighty generous soul ... I would never appreciate an empty bag of crisps unless you had first placed it next to an open fire and made a nice little miniature ornament. I'm not sure whether you'd be able to put together a few songs I've been longing to hear but are still in the loft zone nowhere near an easily accessible CD ... something like Run2, Paradise Re-mix, Ceremony Live (a good version), Sub-Culture Record Mirror version, you know, that type of thing. My memory is failing me, my mind is going. If only I could remember the songs and mixes I've really wanted I could formulate a decent list. One that would take you about 3 weeks to compile in between meals. Isn't there any re-mixes of SOTN? ... I've never found a decent re-mix of Blue Monday in my time, they've always been crapper compared with the mighty original but my mate always claimed he heard a swell one back in the eighties.
Another classic post there HUNTSY
Now your suggestion IS feasible in that i have ALL those you mentioned.I have also been given A double DJ BLUE MONDAY
promo from the 80's BUT this LOOKS to me like someone HAS put the ORIGINAL in this pack TWICE.The sleeve is NOT CUT but some NORMAL ones where done like this.It has come from a DJ who worked in BOLTON in the 80's.Feeling it could have been to the forerunner of the PHOENIX CLUB.But seeing as you and BRIAN POTTER could be the SAME person you could know MORE about this than me.What i will do is start this collection of GEMS and then post suggestions, not too rude
e.g SPOOKY promo ...the FLUKE radio EDIT or whatever as i BROWSE with welling EYES at the beautiful PLANET ROCKET ALADDIN'S CAVE.Should i find an OLD pair of BEZ's socks or
SHAUNS empty brown ale bottles i could PUT them in the mix.
I will call this ROCKET'S FAC ALL MIX and remember i have all the FOUR PALETINE records...as yet not FULLY PLAYED if there is anything you fancy from this! :D So give a clue and this i will do....sneak BRENDAN's on if he lets me!HEHE
ROCKET CARE IN THE NOOL'S COMMUNITY MICK
Ps suppose i should really play BLUE MONDAY
and see/hear the DIFFERENCE but these things take time.So many records...so little MIND!
go on i could always PLAY it!

There is WHEN i actually CATALOGUE it all..a lot are the
normal releases in NUMEROUS different covers and from different countries cos of my love of DIFFERENT artwork.
Meanwhile just send me a list of about 15/20 mixes or 7,12 ,CD singles that you KNOW are released but did not buy and i will DIG em out.Remember as i have said there are a few gaps eg SORDIDE ONE,HAC FLEXI XMAS special and a few of the extremley dear or OLD ones cos even when i could afford them the QUALITY of the COVERS were not up to MY COLLECTION standards BUT i will get THEM one day...if i get a job.As i look through the collection whilst recording the other 20 CDs i have promised to NOOL's,six sent this morning including 2 to BRENDAN as a sweetner, then i will jot down the TITLES and mixes.I am fighting my son for PC time at moment but he is back on nights TONIGHT so i should get the time if the girlfriend doesn't drag me of to find the YETI in WIGAN WOODS.Actually i have been mistaken for a MONSTER but i was in the BLOB SHOP at the time!:D
Cheers ROCKET WRITE IT DOWN MICK

I have ALL the ELECTRONIC etc stuff aswell!
Just a thought...maybe instead of the 'BACK TO MINE' compilation, NewOrder should have done a 'BACK TO THE MINE' compilation, just like what MOLOKO had done - getting their own songs remixed ( again ) but perhaps in a chill-out fashion ( read Regret-Fire Island mix ).......

OLD BLUE whilst you are there E-MAIL me with your choice of CD i am sending you.The clues are in the posts...:D
Jet Pack I have all standard NO releases, carefully stored in beautiful old-fashioned PCV vinyl covers ... in fact, when you tilt 'Tea Leaves Like Us / Mud Flap' toward the sun (around 1pm GMT) the light is so dazzling, vibrant and bright, it could blow the sock of an angry mule running from its mother. Aside from the norm., I also have in my possession almost all alternative mixes released. Also, by mistake I bought the Republican re-mix efforts 'Spooky Chicken', 'Redress the Balance', 'Re-mixes Ruined Ruined in a Day' and so forth.
As I now have (been forced) purchased all of the albums (except Bowel Movement) on Compact Discus, I'm left with that empty feeling a man has when he's just released a 2lb creature into the lavatory for immediate dispatch. I ain't got non of the 'alternative goodies' as stored in the loft of ages. Namely:
Round and Remix (US Import) The Confusion black cover thing with loads of freaky mixes on from around 1990 Paradise is a place called Notty Ash re-mix by Robbie Racket Ball Run the Gauntlet Deux
etc. etc.
I hope this helps you in your quest.
I am very willing to provide 1 CD for you to record onto, and 1 second class stamp to send it back to me. If the CD errors during compilation, use one of your own and I will think about reimbursing you with another CD, but I'm not promising nothing.
Have you not got the Christmas Flexible set of Christmas Carols Rock face? ... I have two of them little starlets.

You know, they say you can never recognise yourself unless you've truly looked in a millpond with excellent reflection conditions. I haven't yet done that (let's say its just a dream at the moment) but DepthChariot's book seems hugely accurate ... and I don't even know what that means.
As I haven't yet seen that pond.
