Clayhead Liberation Faction wrote: How can anyone not love the translation of that interview. Personally, I imagine it is pretty much verbatim. Thus:

"Did that happen how, the end of New Order? Our bass player Peter Hook left us the past year. I really cannot enter into the details, but… it had problems of alcoholism, did a course of treatment of detoxification and while going out, it decided that it hated us."

Bad Lieutenant? Bad Gollum, more like.

  • so if anyone's around they can go down and suggest the set list in person.....my Eurostar gets in at about 5.25 so pushing it a bit.

Likewise... :banghead:

(Edit: No it doesn't, it gets in at 3:50pm... Wa-hey, in which case I could have picked up the original standing ticket at FNAC! - as Homer Simpson would say... DOH!)

What time does everybody else arrive?

I land at CDG 09:10, Jerter lands an hour later so I'm going to wait for him.

Reckon we'll be checked in and out on the sauce before 1 :thumb:

Think I'll definitely go see BL if there going to be at the record shop in person as I'll be in Paris for 10 a.m-is it a Q&A or will they just be signing records/tShirts/breasts etc?! :)

They're meant to be playing live at Fnac Montparnasse at 5.30pm. See you there :thumb:

And, again according to the French Order, here's the running order for tomorrow:

"Voici l'ordre de passage et les horaires pour le concert du 4/11 (dans le programme papier du festival des Inrocks) : 19h00 : Wave Machines 19h50 : Violens 20h55 : Bad Lieutenant 22h20 : Bat For Lashes ce qui laisse espérer un concert d'une heure et quart environ"

and it's live on French radio - Radio Inter I think

so BL will be playing for a reasonable chunk of time with plenty of time for meet up in traditional parisian bar Kitty O'Sheas round the corner from the venue to drink reasonably priced 1664.....
