Hope they play plenty of gigs in the U.K but I guess that will depend on the reaction to the album - getting anxious to hear this baby....

True story this : the name of the newband comes from a night out with Bernard and The Pet Shop Boys. They had just finished a recording session for the first Electronic album and had laid down the final mix for the sublime Patience of a Saint. Bernard, Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant and Johnny Marr went out to celebrate at a local Chinese restaurant. Mid - way through the meal Bernard complained of stomach pains - quick as a flash Neil Tennant guided him to the nearest toilet. 5 minutes Bernard emerged, pale faced. 'That toilet doesn't work Neil - I can't flush the damn thing...it's a BAD LOO TENANT'.

I apologize - that's a terrible joke...in all honestly i can't wait to hear some material from Bad Lieutenant. I just got my tickets today for the Olympia gig and apart from seeing Bernard live for the first time I'm also just as excited about seeing Steve Morris too - one of the most low profile geniuses of recent times! Just hope he turns up!

You could've maybe worked a bad pint of this stuff into there somewhere, to give it a more Engerlish flavour.
