Sorry I couldn't get the link right - I got it via a tweetpic on twitter from the BL myspace site. I've just viewed the BL myspace site though and there is some nice pics on there of the band shooting the vid for 'Sink or Swim' -it seems it is all becoming a reality!
Really cool photo. Looks like the space that New Order played in when they played Transmission for the John Peel anniversary show.
Hooky should be pissed at this moment ![]()
So what Bernard do in the band? They already have 2 guitarists, 1 bassist, 1 singer and 1 drummer. Oh! He takes pictures of the band! ![]()

Just wondering how New Order would sound without Hooky's bass ![]()

I saw that pic on Facebook, and I thought...'where is Bernard?' too.
Maybe he wasn't there? Or maybe he did take the pic? Who knows?

Which is not that bad at all, this is the album that introduced me to New Order, They use to play Regret all the time on the radio station in NYC called Z100, now all they play is top 40 crap, in the rehearsel picture how come there is no keyboard, there has to be some kind of electronics in this band to make it sound nice.

I love Republic as well! Its a bit flawed in that thr production is too smooth and Hooky is too low in the mix (He is there, his bass is all over Spooky, Special, and a few others). The songs themselves are great though.
I think BL are definately using electronics live. The keyboards may just not be in the picture.
Steve is wearing headphones, which means he is playing along to a click track, which means there are electronics involved.

In what context?
Are they reviewing forthcoming single releases already? Bit early, innit?
In other news, I've only just found out they've actually remade the film of the same name ... starring Nicholas Cage, of all people. Well I never.

Something about blowing the opposition out of the water (can't find the paper at the moment)...
Yeah, seems to be quite early, especially since the single isn't out until 5th September...

Nah! He's listening to some Hooky's basslines ![]()
I have a good feeling about Bad Lieutenant. The more I listen to 'Sink or Swim' I am convinced Barney is back on track. My hopes are for the best No related material in many years.

I've mislaid my copy too. It was all very positive, like Nick says. Said nice things about the chorus, I believe.
I wonder what Miranda Sawyer thinks?
Republic is one of my favorite New Order albums, I hope it's up to par with it! I would easily choose Republic over WFTSC any day, especially lyrically. Hmm, maybe we'll get any early taste of the single at this rate. It does seem a bit hush, hush though still.

She's alright... We had a Sarff London Viking piss up in Brixton last Xmas, and she popped in. Apparently it was her local. She was there, possibly with a 'girlfriend', and quite chatty.
