From the Niagara discography:

____________________________________________ Blue Monday 1988

CDV: UK 1988 (Factory FACDV 73R) [PAL] 7:09 Blue Monday 1988 7:16 Beach Buggy ** 4:09 Blue Monday 1988 (7" version) + 4:10 Blue Monday 1988 (video)

  • A unique, slightly different mix/edit. ____________________________________________

Does anyone own a copy of the CDV? I need to confirm the 4:09 mix before proceeding with Recycle. Can someone send me an MP3 so I can confirm if its any different from the other 7" version? It may just be whatever edit was used for the video.

I can help confirm the mix differences.

But you seem uncontactable?

Same case with Touched By The Hand Of God. I am curious about the dub versions available. The Factory ones (TBTHOD 7 inch & 12 inch versions) are not the same as the dub version on Salvation! (which I have here).

What about the 'b-sides' on the Factory TBTHOG CD-single?

Confusion 1987 Confusion 1987 (Dub) Temptation 1987

Are they gonna be included or do you have other plans for it?

Confusion '87 (Dub) and Temptation '87 will be bundled with TBTHOG, because they appeared on the CD single. The non-dub version of Confusion '87 will be on the Brotherhood expanded listening disc.

The rare, longer mix of TBTHOG that appeared on the Japanese CD of Salvation! will also be on the Brotherhood expanded disc with the other Salvation! tracks.

Speaking of Temptation 1987 on upcoming issue of Recycle - what mastering is going to be issued? To me, original Substance CD is subpar, and the new one on a recent Factory 4cd compilation is much better. And thanks for blog, its fantastic.

Great to hear!

Just what I hoped it would be.

Above all: I never saw somebody who cared that much for the band by doing this whole Recycle-project. It's obvious: the love for the music, the stories behind it and the artwork. I really enjoy it so far (so good). And I really hope for a CD-singles box-set release in the future. New Order deserves it the most of all bands.

Keep it up guys!

Temptation-87 was just on the promo version of the Factory Communications box set. The real version has the 1982 twelve inch, plus a few other songs that were corrected.
