Just wondering if this track has ever been remixed or if an alternate version/edit exists. Love the track, not sure about the speak-sing intro - wish Barney had sang the entire song instead of, um, rapping(?)...
Is there a remix or alternate version of "Times Change"?

I actually love the track, just need to pretend that I don't mind the speak-sing as much as I do. I think if the entire vocal was sung by Barney as is the chorus, this would be a top NO track for me.

You wanna hear Hooky on his Man Ray 'tracks' then.

was that the one about Port Royal Town? Actually, that bit where Bernard goes "what is wrong/ this pain won't peel the fibres of my life won't heal" and then Hooky plays a fantastic little tune over some lovely lush keyboards is brilliant. Very much overlooked that.
Republic is a good record to chill out to. Although the production is wank, I think it may be NO at their musical peak. Their some really nice compositions on that album. Ruined in a day is quite sublime.

I've just listened for the first time in years, and that is a great little line from Hooky, I just can't get my head around the rap and how slow the whole album is, nicely crafted, but a bit dreary.
