First record you ever bought ‘Ride a White Swan’ by T Rex. Now that was very, very long time ago.

Last time you were chatted up Tragically, I honestly can’t remember.

First film you saw that really moved you It was Shalako. I wanted to be a cowboy.

Last lie you told To my bank manager on Monday morning.

First movie you ever went on a date to That’ll Be The Day. The date didn’t work out but it did make me quit my job and go to Butlins which, as it happens, didn’t work out either. Just wait til I get my hands on that bloody David Essex!

Last time you cried When recently I came to the end of a fantastic book called A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini. We think we have it hard, pah.

First thing you do when you’ve got time off work Apologise to the wife and children, then make a nuisance of myself until they tell me to go back to work.

Last great meal you cooked Salmon in black bean sauce with grilled vegetables.

Last extravagant purchase you made A Breitling Navitimer. It’s a truly beautiful thing and I blame John Travolta entirely.

First crush Faith Brown.

Last book you read Fire Horses by Liam Piggott and it was excellent.

First great piece of advice you were given It was by my friend Dave Dee just before he died. ‘Fuck ‘em’ he said ‘fuck ‘em all.’

Last time you were star struck By my old mate Dave Dee as above.

First thing you’d do if you ran the country Put an end to inheritance tax

Last meal on earth - what would it be? It would be a five course set menu from Fosh Food in Palma, Mallorca and it would be bloody fantastic.

First song you’ll sing at karaoke ‘Ruby Don’t Take Your Love To Town’ by Kenny Rogers.

Last time you exploited your position to get something Does it count with the wife?

First time you realised you were famous When I started getting trainers for free.

Last time someone criticised your work It’s an occupational hazard, especially nowadays with the internet. There are keyboard terrorists everywhere who hide behind a veil of anonymity to pursue their vicious slanders.

First three words your friends would use to describe you Daft ‘effing bastard.

Last time you made an impulse buy and regretted it See watch above, the wife kicked me round the house!

First concert you ever attended The Dooleys at Salford Willows Club.

Last time you bought someone flowers Last week.

First thing you think of when you wake up in the morning My daughter, in order to get her up for school, and then coffee.

Last thing you think of before you go to sleep Bootleggers, and how to break them. It sends me off a treat!

I think that sounds rather appetizing. :)

This is a really nice interview with Hooky, some personal stuff that I'd never known. I think its sweet that he wakes his daughter up for school in the morning before having his coffee. Awwwww. International ground breaking rock star and a good dad to boot. :)
