I got an email about upcoming concerts in NYC that lists Bad Lieutenant (feat. Bernard Sumner of New Order) playing at Webster Hall on November 21. According to the email tickets go on sale Friday At 12PM.

I looked at the Webster Hall site and they are not listing this concert yet. Has anybody heard anything?

Definitely planning on going to this gig. I would go to see them in Chicago too, but I'm seeing Echo & Bunnymen then in PA. If they play Canada between Chicago and NYC I'd like to make that gig.

So, Webster is pretty small and sometimes doesn't have a barrier, does anyone think the band will be up for meeting fans, etc?

Anyone got any idea when the Chicago date is?

If anyone finds info on a Toronto date, or something between the 18th & 21st please say so. Oh, thanks for the link, I guess no Toronto show. Darn, this makes me wish I wasn't seeing Echo & The Bunnymen on the 18th or I would go to Chicago too. So, any chance of meeting the band? I know it's silly, but it's been a life long dream to meet Bernard & Steven and just say thanks for the great music. I wonder if they'll have any other merchandise besides albums since it's only two dates?

How much were the tickets? I plan on buying mine when they go on sale tomorrow morning. If I buy them online thru ticketmaster, they would be waiting for me at the Park West box office the day of the show, right?

I am so excited. When i saw NO in Chicago in 2005, I thought I'd never get to see Bernard perform in person again. Plus, I like the BL album a lot.

30 at the window. 40 for ticket master fees. i believe it may be 45 by the time taxes and mailing hit.

call them they will sell direct to you and hold them at the window i would imagine. if not lots of time for mail to work. they will be open tomorrow after 5:00 for their nights show.

Oh man that would be a dream come true. In all seriousness, Bernard Sumner is one of the main reasons I started to make music. In the liner notes of my first record, I actually thanked him.

Playing a gig with Bad Lieutenant would be an amazing time, Hell, it would be cool just to hang out backstage with Bernard and Stephen and ask them all of the quesions about synths that I have wanted to ask them since I was 14 years old.

Hell, I would open for BL for free! The gig alone would be pay enough. And I put on a pretty entertaining show! Someont tell thier manager. Yuck yuck yuck...

Ah, one can dream. Whoever runs Bad Lieutenants Myspace page put my music page in thier top twelve, along with Marion and the Chemical Brothers. So when you look at BL's myspace page, there I am! I have no idea why but it makes me feel cool.

Now that's cool... I will surely make that date as it's a saturday, unless they come this side of the border... NYC should be the closest to me!

Plus, I love NYC!

Wonder what happened to opening for Pixies. Did that not work out? Or the promoter figured once BL finished the gig, a percentage of the crowd will start to leave. I would.
