Esteamed author, former Joy division bass player and ex night club owner peter hook(hooky) revealed in Ox ford last night thet the hacienda book he is currently promoting is part of a triology, once he has finished the next part a book on joy division he will embark on what promises to be the most explosive,, an inside book on neworder,, he was offered the opportunity to write an autobiogrphy though declined and split the story into three parts,,,,alarge portion of his current earnings must surley be deirected to lawers advising what can a connot be put in,,, cant wait.Peter Hook was former bass player in new order before he split them up..

I feel a series of memoirs to rival Spike Milligan's war books are in the offing. Surely Revenge, Monaco & Freebass volumes to follow. In fact the names of Milligan's books could be ripped off. I feel I have to disagree with this glamourised, paparazzi style, Daily Mail-esque forum entry, on behalf of Hooky.

I'm the person in the audience who actually asked the question of him, would there be a New Order book in the pipeline after the Joy Division book (if he goes ahead with this). At no point in his answer to me, did he actually state that there WOULD be a New Order book from him.

Hooky was in good spirits last night in Oxford though, and he was a pleasure to talk to - I wish him every success with whatever book(s) he decides to write.
