Half caught Peter Allen saying he's on tonight, think it will be the Richard Bacon show at 22:30.

He's pushing this book hard.

He's in the studio after 11pm. Sounds promising. Long day after being up for the BBC this morning.

Just switched it on, and Hooky was coming out with some story about Bruce Springsteen haggling for boots. Sounded a bit bullshitty and unlikely. I.e, the myth.

And he ermmm just corrected Richard Bacon, who asked about the Hacienda saying 'it was propped up from the profits of NO'. He snapped back 'the profits of JD and Factory'.

And some bloody Viking has just phoned up now, licking his arse...

When is Liam going to phone up and ask him what he thinks of the Bad Lieutenant album?

i had my email read out. Asked him what he would have thought if a political party had used one of his tracks like the Tory's [spit!!] did with the Killer's. He didn't really answer it though.

He also mentioned that he got the [ultra rare]live gig from '83 I sent him and why he couldn't come to my cousin's memorial service [he was away]. That's the first time I've ever had anything read out on Radio/TV, not that i do it very often.

Be fair, the poor chap has been very busy today - I think the Richard Bacon thing was his eigth interview. If I'd written a book, I'd want to plug it too!

I was going to ask him what he thought of Recycle.

Then I thought that probably the first rule of Recycle is that you do not talk about Recycle.
