Ooh it's not signed to anyone...hmm,signed for immediate resale.Tut tut! I'm not really one for buying things signed,if I've not actually met them.Always walk past this shop in Manchester that has signed posters, but with silly prices. Come on,make the most of this post, what do others feel on the matter??

I think the same. I have to get autographs from the stars by myself. Working in a film theatre can be helpful. And sometimes you just need luck. As when "I ran into Jim Kerr" some months ago. Or the christmas card that Chris Olley sent me with a CD last year. :) And as a honest fan you don't sell that. You keep it.

never understood the point of autographs

unless a sports player writing one for a kid

adults treasuring the fact that someone took out a pen and wrote down their name?

whatever

I think it is hella cool that some got to meet Hooky at the signing. The autographed book should serve as a nice collectable/memory for the fan... but a random autograph from an anonymous seller, who cares. Someone wrote in the book, I would want it at a discount as an "used" book.

HMmmmmm,Bugger, wish i'd have thought of that, even though Hooky must have signed about 20,000 books on his P.R Trail.

Yer damn right- what's the point of getting a book that's not signed to you? I work with a guy who goes to book signings and gets them for silent auctions for charities, but there's probably not that much of a market for that for the North Carolina Children's Hospital Golf Classic Gala or whatever- just sayin'

P.S. Hooky, why don't you have just one more signing in Manchester sometime between Oct. 22 & the 25th??
