Think the closest i ever got to her was at the Sheffield Roxy gig, June 1987. Just a few feet away from her keyboard.Although i seem to remember a few people said they had seen all of New Order walk right past the queue outside before the gig and exchanged a bit of chat with the fans.That summer tour was probably the last great New Order tour of small (ish) venues. After that it was all big arenas like the NEC, SECC etc. Er, but no i haven't bumped into her recently.
