Thanks for that, Marcello - interesting remix!
Are you going to be putting more tracks from 'The Cirkus' on your pages?

I would never say that this particular re-mix was the musical equivalent of frostbite.
I was more interested in the other material on the site. Typically, this re-mix is the only thing I can download.

I didn't even bother downloading it because I am convince that IT IS pure shite, for some reason.
I have a tendency not to trust people coming at me and saying "Here's a remix Mr. Nobody has done!", because 95% of the time it's just a loser who has edited the track in CoolEdit or SoundForge and added a cheesy dance beat in Acid.
In order to RE-MIX, you must have the ability to MIX, and for that, you need the original multitrack tapes or DAT or enough clear samples of the tracks to make a new track out of it.
And by the way, for people reading this, don't bother writing to us in e-mail about your "brand new remix of Blue Monday" or whatever because personally, I do not even answer these anymore.
2-3 weeks ago, some guy wrote about his "great remix of This Time Of Night". Since it's one of my favorite tracks from New Order, I said "Ok, sure, send it over" and you know what? It was just the original track with a few added sound effects in CoolEdit. WHAT A ******* IDIOT!
This was my rant for today.
in defence of this remix, he did take out all the music, and added all new dance beats, I don't know how he did it, but you hear just barney's voice over new music. It is a better job then most of the Substance Abuse remixes.

euh. c'était pas un peu fort quand même ?

It's just a matter of filtering noise and frequencies. You might just be able to "isolate" Bernard's voice just thru a simple sort of equalizer... And then adding a few beats to it is easy.
So one Mr MadHattedCow could do this at home while cooking the food for his children.

It's not THAT bad.
I've seen professional remixes worst than that actually ;)
but IMHO, the beats are too much like Blue Monday, and too loud.

Just playing a bit of a devils advocate here for a minute, Seb - how is this different to the "MegaMix" on the opening page of this very website?

so does this mean you aren't interested in my re-mix of dub-vulture???
of course, all I did was run it backwards on a turntable and record it...but it sounds pretty fooking cool man...especially after about 11teen beers!!!!
Never heard of any of these remixes but Close Range is my all time favourite track from Get Ready.
