Macclesfield Museum needs Joy Division artefacts

JOY DIVISION ARTEFACTS SOUGHT BY MACCLESFIELD MUSEUM

Macclesfield Museum is currently searching for interesting Joy Division artefacts for a proposed exhibition due to take place in May 2010. The Curator of the exhibition is Jon Savage.

The museum would like to hear from anyone who may be interested in loaning unseen photos, live recordings or footage, flyers, posters or general rare memorabilia.

Where's Ian Vox Phantom guitar? It would be a significant donation for the museum, the guitar he used in LWTUA video. Don't know if it was the original or a similar during Control filming set.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that Bernard got the Vox Phantom after Ian died.

Perhaps someone could loan them Ian's gravestone?!

Yeah. He played with it in the songs Everything's gone Green and Hurt. Not sure if it was stolen in early 80's. I don't think so cause Bernard used it in New York in November'81.
