New Order was great in 98!

I agree, I kindof miss some of those arrangements in the later tours.

I could swear that I saw Alex 'The Red' in front of the stage. Did I drink too much wine tonight? :hat:

Brings back memories of recording it off the telly on the day  That was a great time, they'd just reformed and you knew there was new music and gigs in the works.

Come to think of it Barney was a semi-regular on TFI back in the day... pretty sure he was on the year before this doing Second Nature and then again in '99 doing Vivid with Electronic.

I put up a crappy mobile phone recorded version (of my original VHS recording ) of it on youtube a year or two back to much derision on ere:lol: But good to see someone's done it properly although the sound's a bit muffled.

Electronic did Vivid on TFI back in 1999. Barney with seriously dodgy dad dancing and i think Sam Brown on backing vocals (Sam Brown as in Stop i think:scratch: )

I may be completely wrong about the Sam Brown bit actually

Blonde backing singer? Think it was Astrid Williamson.

She also did backing vox on the recorded version.

Aye yer right. It did seem odd that it could have been Sam Brown but i just seem to remember reading it somewhere. Was prob getting mixed up with her doing backing vocals for other artists. She did backing vocals for Pink Floyd in 1994.

98-99-2000 was a frustrating time waiting for New Order to do another album.

Didn't New Order plan to do LWTUA on that TFI apperance but Evans pleaded them to do Regret instead?
