Barney on Starbucks "Up, Down, Turn Around" comp

Just saw this on the front counter of a Starbucks. Never heard any talk about it here, nor thought they'd choose to put a photo of Barney on the cover over Robert Smith's fat mug.

I thought it might be coffee mug or something... :-P

Starbucks had another 80s comp before this. The first song was "Age of Consent"... so whoever is behind these must be a New Order fan. :)

Kinda surprising in a good way since Bernard was hardly a MTV star in the USA like other Brit Synth Pop. This compilation is a little odd, since it is not really for the serious music fan nor does it cater to the more shallow fan. Maybe somebody will discover New Order, suppose that is not bad.
