Well, what can I say ! My other half came home the other day with the earth shattering news that New Order are playing at the MEN in Manchester & that ticket details have been anounced on REAL FM & that they had played NO trasong after the anouncement !! Now much fevered searching of the web ensued with no avail. So back to the wife ! After much questioning it transpires that its Depeche Mode who are playing at the MEN on 18/12/09 & the NO song was 'Enjoy The Silence' !! Words fail !!

You picked the wrong wife - it's your fault completely! Mine was a Prince fan but with the right therapy she was brought back into society and used to insist on getting down the front at NO gigs. You've only yourself to blame.

I've definitely got the best other half one could wish for.

She likes:

New Order Joy Division Football Pies

or it could be like my wife, when we met she loved NO, had the Best of and Substance albums (ok not the best, but looked like something to work with)... but as soon as we married, she dropped all her other music and listened to Backstreet Boys, NSYNC, and 98 Degrees:banghead:

That's "letting yourself go" in a musical sense. As a wife myself, I find all this talk very strange.... But, yeah- I get it. Hubby seems to think that the BL gig and the trip to Manchester was a one-off. Poor, deluded soul.:evil4:

If some of you don't know I'm married. Anyway, my wife loves Dixie Chicks, Martina McBride, Carrey Underwood and George Strait (she went to his concert), plus a little bit of Loretta Lynn, Tammy Wynette. Her last CD purchase was Tanya Tucker's.

Everything else that has a synthesizer or programmed beats is gay.
