what kind of a mind dreams this up? Proving genius is close to madness.

Some people clearly have too much time on their hands.

That said, any excuse to listen to DDI is always welcomed and this gives me a good way of furthering Rorschach Junior's New Order education - stealth!

LOVED IT! Especially the head banger's! :)

I have 2 more good ones from youtube:

  1. Peter Hook playing with Detachments last week doing "Love Will Tear Us Apart" at a benefit event for The Salford Foundation Trust, promoting Ceremony - A New Order Tribute, which benefits the Tony Wilson Award.

  2. The interview afterwards:

Whenever I hear Don't Do It after now, I shall always think of Patrick on drums and the mean Sea Slug as the voice in the background

That deserves a thread of it's own really, I particularly liked and totally agree with his comments about x factor.

Thanks for posting it.

Me too...totally agree about shows like 'American Idol' - it's killing music.

It promotes homogenic blandness, anyone who tries to do something original or unique probably wouldn't even be allowed on the show.

And what great talents have they produced? Nothing!

I can't even IMAGINE why anyone with any taste or intelligence watches that shit. I can't even stand being in the same room if someone else is watching it, it feels like my ears are being raped.
