Time to get 60 Miles an Hour out!

Crystal has reached rock bottom!

Could we say it's a commercial failure, or that it's not so bad considering the band isn't exactly "hip" after being away for 8 years?

I think it reflects quite sadly on today´s CD buyers´s tastes. A diet of regurgitated rap and disposable pop has ruined this generations palates.

Those unlucky enough to listen to BBC´s Radio 1 will understand me.

Both Crystal and Get Ready were bound to start dropping like stones the week after their respective top 10 entries. But I could never have predicted the record company, WEA/London's crucial role in helping the album perform so badly, seeing as the bastards didn't release it on vinyl the same week, thus leading to less first week sales, whilst the likes of The Strokes and fucking kiddie bands like Slipknot and Five enter much higher up. Yes, Get Ready is a failure - see my last topic on this subject.

Here's my gloomy prediction: "60 mph" will be extremely lucky to make the Top 25 and stay in the top 50 more than a week in total.
