How is it guest list only? Tickets DID go on sale to the public, but yes it sold out extremely quickly. You would be naive to think that it wouldn't to be honest, the bottom floor of the Factory where the gig will take place only holds 450, and there are over 10,000 people signed up to the various Factory groups on Facebook alone. Just because you didn't manage to get tickets doesn't mean that there has been this massive conspiracy. If I had a pound for every great gig I've missed out on because I've been unlucky on Ticketmaster at 9am on a Friday morning then I'd be a millionaire... it's a shame that the capacity of the room doesn't allow more people but come on, nothing untoward has gone on here, just that demand has far exceeded the number of available tickets.

Jack, dont take it so personally, but 10,000 people sign up WHY, Bad lieu struggle to pack out the Ritz & how many of the slebs that'll be at fac251 were at yr Oxjam Ritz gig apart from us ardcore' There will be probably the same number who tried for Bad Lieu tickets @ 9am the day they went on sale I tell you now at least a hundred of the total will be hangers on /journos. Nothing to do with a conspiracy or bitching etc. Just we are the daft bastards who will shell out a few bob to see yr old man Dj somewhere & pay £16 to hear book extracts... etc So to find out that only a handful are going is a pisser to say the least, especially with the potential songs being played

I totally understand where you're coming from mate and I know it is a shame BUT any guests or "hangers on" won't even be watching the gig properly, they have to watch upstairs on monitors, the ground floor will be 90% general public who bought tickets. Can't do anything about the size of the venue meaning only a few hundred can go. Demand was always going to be fierce for this as even if the people who do have tickets never decide to go again they do want to be there for the opening of a new club.

There are still tickets left for the afterparty after the gig.

Yes exacxtly,even i had to buy tickets,there is NO guestlist,,there is very limited press for the night ,prolly lookin at less than 50 peeps and even then they will be viewing via videolink.
