Is is possible to get his on DVD or is it only avaliable on video? (Seeing at it was made in 1985) Also is it still in print, if so where could I buy it new? Cheers.

Only in Japan...

I would point you to an online stockist, but HMV Japan doesn't appear to stock it anymore... And Amazon.co.jp don't have English pages to view...

There is one on ebay (via Australia), though...

As an addendum, being that the ebay item says "it's a recent reissue", this may or may not be official??

The seller seems to sell nothing but bootlegs, so it may well be one too.

Everything Nick said.

You could also try Discogs.

Yup, said Oz seller seems to like selling bootlegs...

Ah well...

I bought it about 7 years ago. Was surprised to see it available on DVD. It's a Factory/Nippon Columbia Co-Production. Catalogue number is COBY-91044. No extras but unique artwork.

Oh, I wasn't doubting the Japanese DVD's authenticity, but that seller is selling a whole load of other items, which (mostly) seem to be bootlegs...

Joy Division "Substance" and "Here Are The Young Men" DVD's are amongst those that he's also got for sale...

You can view amazon.jp in English if you want to, and they do ship abroad.

'Amazon.co.jp can ship to virtually any address in the world. Orders placed at Amazon.co.jp will be shipped from Ichikawa, Japan, and may not be combined with orders placed at any other Amazon sites. For more information, click the links to the left.' (from their English help section).

Amazon seems out of stock also, only independent sellers are listed

My girlfriend picked up a copy a couple of years ago from a Japanese website (not Amazon).

I remember her telling me that she found it hard to order because the website was in Japanese.

I've tried to find the website but haven't had any luck, however, I did come across a couple of links:

That's also much cheaper than here:

Odd, I purchased the PFD DVD just a few months ago (think it was summer 2009) from HMV Japan. Looks like it's no longer listed on their site.
