As we all know, other people covering BLT has become so passe.... to the point of sheer tedium and predictability.

EXACTLY!!! And none of them numpties realise that the VERY FIRST EVER ACOUSTIC COVER VERSION OF IT was done in 1988 by Devine and Statton on their Prince of Wales album (which I have cos I am also a huge Young Marble Giants fan too!)
