Great interview! Bernard seems really enthusiastic(drunk). :beer2:

I just discovered this yesterday and debated whether if it was posted, since it was uploaded way back in December. You're a brave man.

Is it just me or are interviews with former New Order members getting better now that the band is broken up? They just seem to offer more on their own in interviews. Interesting.

Nice interview. Best part: "Joy Division was Ian, "Peter Hook", Steve and me". Can't he say Hooky anymore? :evil4:

Hahaha, I was preparing if it had been posted for some backlash, but I'm glad you guys are enjoying it!

Bernards interviews are especially more enlightening these days, he seems warmer and more comfortable with being in a band.

I saw that interview quite a while ago, but yeah, he does seem happy about what he's doing.

Fuck 'em being more comfortable. Screw better interviews, I'd prefer another NO album than some piss taking interviews.

If the 'friendship' (if I can call it that) between Bernard and Hooky was that much in bad shape, then I'd rather have them working separately instead of putting out another brand new album whilst not being on good terms.

I think Bernard has HAD to take the role of being the center of attention in interviews to promote Bad Lt. Bernard has become more comfortable and confident, but he always has that undercurrent of long term bitterness at one point in the interview. Always has to have that implied dig at Hooky.

In New Order he could bullshit and be evasive much more. He has to promote Bad Loo in interviews. BL is basically his own independent project. bernard has to be the center of attention and doesn't have a label to back him up.

I happened to like Republic, from a musical point of view, but it's not very good psychologically to carry on like that.

Because Never Cry Another Tear is soooo much better than Republic:rolleyes:

NO's shittiest album still beats the socks off any of the side project albums.

I don't care of thier personal lives, I want my album... the world revolves around ME dammit!

You should E-mail Hooky and tell him to settle the squabble then. If you do it in time we can have John robies State of The Nation 2010 maxi single.

I don't care about their personal lives, but I do want them to be happy in whatever they're doing.

But, back to the interview, good interview indeed.

Seconded, I'd rather see a full on Barney dance, with smiles and all, then deal with a shouting tantrum.
