I'd be very pleased if someone could upload an audio file of this for me. Simply awesome.

It's clear that Tony's ittention to make Ian's voice sounds like Sinatra was successful indeed

Unless Frank Sinatra used autotune.

Really? was the autotune really necessary? Or was that just some crazy compression on the stream?

That sounds fucking awful, like it was done by someone using auto tune for the first time, Ian's voice is best left alone, it wasn't perfect, but it had character.

Ian's voice is the best of post-punk era and Barney studio's voice is the best pop rock dance ever! Joy Division and New Order, miths.

I don't believe I'm going to say this, I agree with you, that's why it shouldn't be messed about with.

It's not like autotune gets any easier/subtler as time goes by though, it's ALWAYS noticeable. About the most seamless I've heard it is on Sirens, Krafty in particular, barely a cherwobble in sight.

Some bell's timesssstretttttched the lot too, listen to the loo o o o o o oping on the sustained notes, AT only does that if it has to fuck up, sorry I mean shift, the note. That Factory mix that Tong broadcast when Tony died was drowned in it....just subtle enough to not be noticed as the radio chugs away in the background, but any intensive listening will drive you foamygobbed mental.
