These lists are always completely subjective crap.
The best British song ever is Bohemian Rhapsody, and as over-hyped as they are, The Beatles should have an entry in the top 10. Oasis blows.
Spin Magazine just did a list of the 150 greatest albums of the past 25 years, and ranked U2's Achtung Baby at #1. The list omitted Violator and Substance. Laughable.

While I don't put a lot of faith in these kinds of lists, I did like seeing them give "The Stone Roses" their due! The "Stone Roses" are, in my mind, one of the greatest British bands ever!
Omg! I just looked at the list. What a load of crap! Who the f#%k are Muse? And why do they have so many songs on the list? They can't be that great if I have never even heard of them.
Yeah, I just DO NOT get the appeal of Muse. At all.
I've heard one album and seen them live twice and...they're just pretty boring arent they..??
While I thoroughly enjoy Muse, and they should have a song or three on the list.... but no way should they have about every song on their albums on the list.
And Oasis are crap, but have a couple good songs, but no where near the top... this looks like someone's personal list, no way this was voted in.
40% of the final 10 are Oasis tracks which tells you all you need to know about the credibility of that list. As for Muse, didn't mind their "Black Holes and Revelations" album but there's something massively pretentious about them. I heard their latest album was all classical-progressive-electro-rock symphonies... not really my bag.
If you know of the UK music rag Q Magazine they do these sorts of polls every. single. issue. and it's always Radiohead on top with Coldplay not far behind. I suppose in a way with this one it's refreshing not to see Chris Martin up there.
