More recently I've noticed that I'm in love with the "Singles" edit of 1963. I can't put my finger on why I like it so much, but the over all trimming makes it more..."in your face".

I agree with michael preda that 1963 is a great track.i think the greatness of the other two material springs 2 mind 2.Gillian has a fabulous voice (as i've said in another post).tasty fish was a fantastic song and i'm disapointed that it wasn't a bigger hit.

An Electronic song that always comes to mind for me is "I feel alright". That song was more or less what I wanted to hear from Sumner/Marr at that time. It's also better than almost anything on RTP - and I like RTP. They dumped the inferior B-sides "Imitation of Life" and "All that I need" on the Electronic 'best-of', but not that one...
In a similar vein, Bad Lieutenant themselves seem to underrate "Higher Wider Deeper". That went into my top 3 Bad Lieutenant tracks, when I finally heard it. I find it slightly bizarre that they've hidden that track away in favour of such comparative drivel as "Falling Trees".
Agreed about Higher Wider Deeper, it's truly a remarkable closer to the album. A track that I seem to enjoy everytime I hear it is Paradise, and I'm not even sure why.
