I've posted this before, but nonetheless I think this is an inpressive cover of Leader's of Men. Very impressive drumming from Steve Wright and guitar playing from Martin Brigstock:

Anybody here ever hear a cover of Love Vigilantes by The Oyster Band from around the tail end of the 1980s? They made it even more honky tonky countrified..... not too sure if I liked it on first listen though....

saw it live a couple of times probably about 1990ish with about a thousand guitars onstage... was a mighty pleasant noise especially with real banjos or ukeleles or whatever those folky people use. Bet it got murdered in the studio though.
EDIT: just remembered it wasn't Love Vigilantes but Bizarre Love Triangle.

That was definitely Love Vigilantes - I've got it on a 10" vinyl! :)
I like the acoustic cover of Love Vigilantes by Iron & Wine. I suspect it's not everyone's cup of tea but it's a pretty mellow and haunting rendition.
