Actually, it's a really good book...

This is an excellent book and highly recommended. I was a bit dubious at first but a must read for anyone interested in the Factory story. lots of stuff int he book I have never heard before. Much nore intersted than the other Tony Wilson book 'your're entitled to your opinion'.

Once again the ladies have come up trumps as Deborah Curtis' book is the best Joy Division book.

Had a look at these in Waterstones,Manchester on Tuesday.The KEVIN CUMMINS one was sealed and therefore unable to view.Minty mint though.The cover of SHADOWPLAYERS is neat. You don't know this about me SHUG.

Nothing is a great read.Bought and read it years ago, about 2002.

Just fnished it. Very moving to the end. If I had to recomend it to someone (and I have), it would be as a love story rather than an addition to the stack of Manchester volumes that lies unread at Shug's house. It's a brilliant depiction of why a love affair should never be trusted with anyone daft enough to be in love.

I bought the book so I could read it before your show, Monts.

Loved the trailer today and can't wait for the main event on Tuesday.

Train-spotter note, I was surprised to read that the track with Vini was recorded around the corner from my old house in Cheadle and that Lindsay was practically my neighbour growing up.

As she says in the book, it could have all been so different

Reading those last few chapters was bloody hard.

Still, gonna start reading Shaun Ryder's book now.
