Hi folks,just to let you know I'll be interviewing the ex-Mrs Tony Wilson,Ms LINDSAY READE on Tuesday 28th DECEMBER on my radio show THE MONTY SHOW at 9pm online at www.salfordcityradio.org and on the airwaves on 94.4FM Salford City Radio.
We'll be talking about her new book "MR MANCHESTER & THE FACTORY GIRL",describing her 30 year on-off relationship with TONY WILSON,plus all that happened during that time musically and emotionally. Spoke to her today,very lovely lady!
Yeah I've had to change the date to TUESDAY 28th DECEMBER. I'm still meeting her on 21st, but there isn't time to put it out that night.
Never mind you can still tune in on both days.....because I'll be playing TOP TOONS!!!
Oh no, poor Lindsay's in bed with the flu! Never mind,it will happen in the New Year!!
In the meantime on 28th DEC, my replacement show will be just non-stop claasic tunes....including NEW ORDER's BLT 12"!

Nothing to do with wanting to meet me or not,she and her publicist have been working with me to sort out a date she could come in to the Swinton studio. She couldn't come in the week before Xmas, so she said she'd defo do the New Year. I've not been in touch with her purposely over Xmas. ONE give her time to recover ..and TWO the studio has been closed between 24th December till Tues 4th Jan.
