I share that notion of hopes crushed, by this not being about the death of NME, yet they never spoke about the unknown pleasures Zune, which to this day is my favorite fiasco.

That would be the news of the decade - the NME forced to close up shop.

Ten years of peddling shite and getting more and more irrelevant - not to mention becoming a more expensive rag in the process- amazing how they managed to pull it off really.....

If it's any consolation,The Daily Sport has ceased publication,basically it's gone tits up..
