“Too Late” is one of my fav NO songs,; very interested to hear a live rendition. If one exists could someone kindly point to which gig or gigs; are there live recordings available?

It's probably the biggest anomaly of all this song, because it was the only original thing they wrote that appeared SOLELY as a Peel Session track and nothing else - ever. It's certainly got the potential to be a good song if it was done/produced/fleshed out properly - who knows, it was intended for PC&L and could easily have sat on that album in place of everybody's party favourite "We All Stand".
Me thinks though that the very end, with Morris's pattering drums, was still a bit TOO Joy Division in some ways - so yeah, it's probably one of them "transitional" tracks that the band didn't really feel the need to develop further....
Their Peel Sesh cover of Turn The Heater On, by contrast, I could take or leave, as it kind of meandered along with no real fucking direction at all and if anything sounded like - gasp, shock, horror, hold the front page!!! - much-misunderstood New Order copyists THE WAKE when they first started out in support of NO and the first couple of singles they issued on Factory benelux.
