If you could pick, say, 5 NO songs that you would like to see resurrected at The Light or BL gigs, what would they be? I'll get the ball rolling:

Age of Consent Everything's Gone Green Lonesome Tonight Vanishing Point All Day Long

There are so many others I would love to see though, Hurt, Dream Attack, AIIWIW, Denial, IALP, 1963 etc etc. It's just a shame that in their latter years they didn't rotate the set around more, especially considering they have one of the best back catalogues in the world to dip into.

Aye, Leave Me Alone and Procession are good shouts, but Love Vigilantes has been done relatively recently?

I'd take Dream Attack over All the Way

Some good ones on here! I think Bernard would be better at some songs and Hooky better at others so I have picked 5 for each band, because I am cheeky/greedy/clever/sad like that [delete as appropriate]

5 for BAD LIEUTENANT:

AGE OF CONSENT AS IT WAS WHEN IT WAS DREAM ATTACK EVERYONE EVERYWHERE SOMEONE LIKE YOU or CLOSE RANGE [Can't decide love them both!]

5 for THE LIGHT:

CEREMONY EVERYTHING'S GONE GREEN MURDER SUNRISE TEMPTATION

Remember Bernard loathes "Procession" [read his comments in the sleeve notes for RETRO] and a fortnight ago Hooky mentioned his hatred of Jetstream so the chances of hearing either of these are very very slim!

lol... I believe they played it at the last gig you or I went to.

But I'm guessing it's a must in every set list for you.

I personally would love to see Subculture back, as it always rocked the house live, Sunrise, Face Up etc etc, unable to steer away from Low-life.

HTS never made it into the setlist, so can't come back cos it was never there. I always thought it would sound like a car crash live meself.

you need some sunshine lad. A party round yours would be uplifting, no doubt.

Just curious, why would you think HTS would be a car crash live?

I'm not sure about live but on record the Radio Edit is a certainly a *bit* of a car crash. It came on my iPod yesterday for the first time in a good while and it immediately struck me how "rushed" it is... too much going on, too many instruments fighting for your attention and the way the sections segue together is a bit clumsy. In my opinion of course. It's a good song but perhaps not the best mix.

As for what NO songs I'd like to see in the setlist, I wouldn't really want any more at the moment. Much more interested in what each band can come up with in terms of new material though I did enjoy Out of Control by Bad Loot, that sounded good.

Dreams Never End by The Light is surely doable? A great song and Hooky did the original vocal anyway plus their guitarist seems pretty good at recreating that era of Bernard's guitar riffage. Hooky did perform it with Revenge after all.

Very true Sir!

I would say: more from the first Electronic cd. Tightend up sounds great. With two wonderful guitarplayers the songs with the Johnny Marr riffs are in excellent hands. New Order: Dream Attack.
