Unfortunately, no. If I really liked Hellbent, I would be willing to legally buy just that, but I haven't really thought Hellbent would be worth it. And I don't want another 'best of' type collection when I already have Substance (NO), Substance (JD), International, and The Best of New Order. Some might say, 'They are remastered decently', but I still am not interested.
What about Elvis fans? These poor souls buy everything in Elvis name. 300 compilation CDs anyone?
I'll legally pay for and download Hellbent when it's available on Amazon US. Paying for a completely new song I don't have makes sense. As for the rest of the 17 tracks, I've purchased all these on CD and vinyl at least four times over by now. I've earn to the right to download the songs I already own for free. If New Order really wanted seventeen more dollars from me, they should have included all the leftover WFTSC tracks on a bonus disc.

I got my copy of 'Total' today for £9.99 in HMV & I agree that the remastering job is well-done, as all the tracks sound really good. Also, it's nice to have the 7' version of 'True Faith' on CD at last, as it's not on either 'Substance' or 'Singles' (as they both have the album version) & the 1994 remix is on 'The Best Of', so worth getting for that & 'Hellbent' too of course!
Hopefully now though this will be the last compilation/best of/greatest hits/singles-type album for a long-time, as there's been more than enough now.
I will definitely get Total at some point. I really like Hellbent and the artwork looks good. Has there been any mention of a U.S. release?

In 2014, we will see a compilation of side project hits, then in 2017, a compilation of side projects combined with JD/NO hits released in two volumes. In 2020, these two volumes will be condensed to one compilation and will include a bonus disc of Paul Morley's liner notes in spoken word. 2023 will see the best of Paul Morley spoken word liner notes with a bonus Ian Curtis bobble head.

Bought it yesterday £9.99 from HMV sounds great in the car! Nice sensitive not too over the top mastering, no complaints here.
I would buy it if there was a 2nd disc of some interest. BTW Did I dream when I read solmewhere that 'Total' was also released in a limited edition with a bonus DVD (videos)?

I didn't know Digital was on the album too.
If so many people are buying (and have always bought) mutliple copies of New Order albums then someone should tell the band they dont have as many fans as they thought.
As i was in Manchester for a take that concert yesterday, mrs order took took me on a shoping trip around the ARndale,, spent my time in HMV buying total and the ting tings ,bit of a Salford moment that, methinks the last time i bought Joy division in manchester was sep 1980 Atmosphere from virgin, 31 years later,, I walked past a NME cover tshirt with IAN ON IT , for £27, NO ,,This is pure not commercial..
With 55000 zombies we walked away from the city of manchester stadium,, saw pet shop boys for first time after acouple of attempts to hear Bad loo.. POP is SHOW these days,, RObbie was fun, Its not like walking away from the Hac ,, no style.........
Today from the Manchester store I bought a Fac 51 Hacienda T shirt,, fuck nostalgia , just aint what it used to be.
hellbent on the car c.d sounds great.... Attracted by some force within.

bought it today and i have to say its a very good remastering job. none of this loudness war bullshit that plagued so many release in the previous decade.
one thing i did notice was that in the credits for each song has a different order when telling you who wrote each song. so for example in the credits gillians name comes first for regret, while for BLT and true faith its hooky's.
does this indicate who the principal songwriter was in any given composition?

this is the best sounding new order disc ever
for me with a high end system, its worth it on those grounds alone.

i thought the main albums were done reasonably well on the new order reissues, it was just the bonus discs that were an embarrassment.
as for the jd reissues, i thought they were too loud and listen to the heart and soul boxset instead.
