Me, I just downloaded Hellbent.

Heck I bought 4 copies of it.

And if you downloaded Hellbent,did you pay for it?

I downloaded Hellbent and didn't pay for it, but since I bought both Technique, Brotherhood and Substance twice (once on cassette, then on CD) don't I have credit to spend?

(but yes, I will pay for it when it's available)

I'll download and pay Hellbent once I figure out how iTunes work.

If hellbent becomes available to download on its own I'll down load it (legaly of course) even though I don't think it's great, I just have to have it.

Would people be more interested if it was a gatefold double album? remember the feeling, listening to your LP for the first time, drooling over the artwork, nice 12" record to play.

Because it also lines the pockets of the artists too. You know, the ones who actually wrote the tunes in the first place. I shall be buying it and also getting it signed. Back of the net!

No; we've all paid for these tracks many times over, apart from Hellbent which I've downloaded. If they'd included some more unreleased tracks ...6... I would have bought it.

a) downloaded "Hellbent"... for free b) ordered the album (the limited edition, to be more accurate) c) cursed Saville/Wakefield (for delievering another white sleeve)

Don't like white t-shirts period, they always end up covered in pawprints and pasta marks that won't go off. I would have considered buying the deluxe package actually had I really liked the t-shirt design.

After having a chance to preview Total, I have decided to pick it up mainly based on the fact that...this is the best sounding New Order release I have heard. The mastering was really well done on this compilation. Though, it really is a shame that the same time and effort couldn't have been put into the 2008 New Order Factory remasters. (I thought the Joy Division remasters where handled quite well, however)

I agree, all the tracks feel alive and vibrant - I am glad I bought it

BTW Buzzcocks have done an album called a different complilation, where they have re recorded some of their earlier output (I assume its a fans favourite compilation) my mate played it to me the other day and I have to say it's brilliant every track sounds really now which is odd when the majority of the songs are from the late 70's. Strange idea but it works
