Listen, I've been out the loop for 3 weeks or so working away in a foriegn country where they speak a different language........I think they call it Norfumberland....anyway I just logged on now I've got home, as you do, and notice theres activity concerning upcoming gigs?????
Would one of you hairy arsed lackies give me a short breakdown of whats going on, where, when etc.......????

On September 5, 2 charity gigs were announced to take place in October, in Paris and Brussels. The line-up is as follows: Bernard, Steve, Gillian (!), Phil and one Tom Chapman. Hooky is not playing with them. Apparently Hooky was susprised by this news just like you, and he has given a few outspoken interviews. No word yet back from New Order, though.

Gillian's replaced Jake in Bad Lootenant. 
Theres also some unreleased tracks from the WFTSC sessions soon to see The Light of day which, despite WFTSC being almost universally hated on here, most people seem to be looking forward to.

Along with the announcement of Hooky doing a movement tour, though I wish they'd stay still.

They've also pencilled in a few dates next year supporting The Killers on their 2012 "Olympius" [the title of their next album] European tour.

I would humbly suggest that following the reformation in 98 it was about 40% Barney, 25% Hooky & Steve/Gillian & 10% Phil C when it came to songwriting
I can't cope with some stupid people insisting on comparing Hooky with other bass players.
This guy deserve our respect
