They're different from the single, but was the version of LWTUA lyrics that Julio has on his signature ever sung?

"Get a taste in my mouth as desperation takes hold! Just that something so good, just can't function no more When love, love will tear us apart again! "

The lyrics for the single A side are.

"Just that something so good, just can't function no more".

Not sure about the other versions.

I thought they were the same as the single? Although I'm still convinced that on the single A side, on all *but* the first chorus, Ian actually sings "Love will tear it apart". Listen closely.

If you are talking about the single version side A, it's for sure "Love will tear us apart".

You would think so. But stick on a set of headphones, fast-forward to 2:32, play the next 10-15 seconds loud.

I'll say no more :-)

It's likely a 'punch in' Martin did on Ian's vocal, or an early form of 'D-essing', that is, reducing sibilance.

Sory, hate to debunk your hard work, it's definitely "Love will tear us apart", without punch ins.

Also he sings "Yeahs a taste in my mouth", always thought it was "There's a taste in my mouth". Don't know if it was a mistake that no-one picked up on, or that's what the words were??
