The only article that doesnt run the nazi controversy with the joy division name and its an israeli paper. Not much else new in it i dont think.

The Jerusalem Post? Fuckin ell! Even they are reporting on the New Order feuding now rather than the Israeli/Palestinian conflict?

Great paper  . Was the sole English language paper to read when waking up in Tel Aviv after a hard night's clubbing at Lemon circa 93-97

I don't umderstand this thing Hooky has about memebers of NewOrder not coming to him & letting him know that the where going to gig as NewOrder. Didn't he leave the band without talking to anyone or even letting them know. :confused2: :confused2: :confused2:

What upsets me is that he did the same thing with his Joy Division homage.

The journo has done his research fairly well except for seemingly attributing “Yeah it doesn’t feel good, you don’t do the dirty on your mates" to Barney and saying they are going to play "2" gigs in London in December

Well yes, he left, saying never again, and for some reason is upset they haven't begged him to come back.

He's upset that he didn't get the final say in whether New Order exists or not.

He said it!

But then many have been already telling them to stop it.

To no avail.

So what then??

He keeps making that comment about some adult coming in between him and Barney, and I'm thinking, man, aren't you 55?

If Rob Gretton was still alive he would give these two overgrown spoilt schoolboys a right rollocking by banging their heads together repeatedly until they both see sense.

I doubt that he would be standing for this nonsense.

If there are truly personal differences (personality etc) that make it difficult to remain friends, why should they have their heads banged against each other's? They should just work separately if working with each other is impossible (personality reasons or anything else).

...and I'm thinking, man, aren't you 55?

Odds are about 2:1 that sometime in the next year, Barney will write a song with that line in the first verse.

"Hey man, aren't you 55? We were youngBut now we're old and alivePlaying on different floorsOf this closed Factory life"

From the hypothetical 2012 Bad Lieutenant album Procedural.
