They put the "Substance edit" (6:30) on the Low-life bonus discs - both 2008 defective and 2009 fixed - so yep, this seems to be the début digital outing for the full 12" version officially speaking. 20 quid for one track though

I probably will buy it but hanging back until it's confirmed to be a proper digital version rather than a vinyl rip. Don't trust Rhino much these days and Blank & Jones most likely sourced it from them 
Blimey, theres some dodgy tracks on there! some classics too though. Would love to know if its a proper mastered version. Probably got it from Recycle!
Ha ha ha! I'm laughing at the gullible person who just shell[shock]ed out £20 for a dodgy CD compilation just to get that long version, conveniently forgetting that thanks to the Recycle project above, a lot of us already had the privilege of getting hold of it!

Yeah I only discovered this a week ago. Never heard it before. I love it. The Substance version is great but there are so many tracks that John Robie took out

Whaaat? I thought 80 minutes was the maximum length on a CD. Did I miss something? 
90 minute CD-Rs do exist; I've got some but hardly ever use them as 80 minute blanks generally do the job and the 90 min ones can be incompatible with certain CD players.
Never seen a commercial CD at 89 minutes before though!

My player is 16 years old and the disk 3 works fine.
Shellshock on CD1 is mixed.(3:xx)
Shellshock on CD3 is the 9:43 mix. I've listened it, once, last night. I maybe wrong but it's not from vinyl, I think. It sounds far better than PK on the first remaster issue

It does indeed - certainly not a vinyl-transfer, and sounds perfect to my ears - at long last it's on CD! :)

Not sure I understand this statement about John Robie... he removed tracks from "Substance"??!
