Thiago,
You've made a mistake. You put Age of Consent video instead of Temptation here ![]()

Sorry, I've also uploaded "Temptation" but I've mistaken the links! Thanks for posting, Julio.

It would be cool to get the complete show and then put it on to dvd then rip the audio as wav. files.

What I've heard, is the typical bad festival audio mix , done by someone who doesn't know the bands music.

I have uploaded "5 8 6" and "Temptation" with better video quality (480p) to YouTube. Enjoy!

Amongst many other aspects of the new live arrangemnet i'm really liking the added new perky electronics that come in at about 3.26 and then at various points from then on. Anyone else noticed that?

Yeah it's great. Too bad these professionally-shot videos have poor sound mixing. God, Bernard sounds miles away like it's 1981 all over again. Also, I think the stage lighting affected his guitar playing.

Lou Reed & The Velvet Underground ![]()
Below video about this amazing rock opera written in 1978 by the best living rock songwriter, the NYC man Lou Reed. The song is divided into three parts (Walzing Matilda, Street Hassle, Slip Away), which have all the same music structure that meets first the orchestra, then acoustic guitars and rock bass guitars, and at the end the prayer of a penitent man, made of tears.. "Love has gone away and there's no one here now And there's nothing left to say but oh how I miss him, baby Ah baby, come on and slip away come on baby, why don't you slip away.." the Lou's masterpiece.
Did it influence What do you want from me? Cause of its sha la la, of course.

Yeah I put the video on the Troxy thread last weekend. Dunno why I bother...![]()
Street Hastle....God Lord, any proof that JD listened to that? I can almost hear Ian singing. I can hear Barney's synth lines from Atmosphere.

If you listen more to the Picadilly radio session version of 'Atmosphere/Chance', you can really hear the similarities with 'Walk on the wild side'.But hey, I'm sure that's been mentioned as well on another thread?.

I think Barney's vocal cadences and some of his phrasing and tone when he sings is definitely influenced by Lou Reed's singing style. Also thought Barney's rhythm guitar playing sounded like it was influenced by Lou's.

I am a massive Velvet Underground fan and of course Lou Reed's too. Blame Ian for that ![]()
