NO in Miami? March 23-25: Ultra Music Festival

Yes, that is what i'm saying. It still depends on who is before/after them but if its Deadmau5 / Tiesto / Skrillex / Armin Van Buuren / PVD you will have to be there early. If they headline a side stage then its no problem. Last year Empire of the Sun and Cut Copy were on a side stage while Duran Duran and Erasure were on the main.

well it was made official New Order is at Ultra! Kraftwerk too - both on friday! Fatboy Slim will also be there. Other than that I am not sure I would enjoy much of the festival.

I already got my $300 tickets plus $70 service fee plus they actually charge you another $11 just to ship the tickets to you.

Have to agree with this point when places like Cochella REQUIRE a person to purchase the whole two/three day event, when in the past they allowed to purchase only one day if you liked... I personally don't mind paying for the added expense, its the requirement to purchase more than one day... especially when Cochella has gone downhill in artist lineup...

In case anyone is holding out, this thing will most likely sell out by the weekend. I'm still on the cusp, but there is always a secondary market for tickets, at least to get back what you paid. I can help with contacts in Miami if need be.

I guess i'm just going to get it and go from there. Miss New Order and Kraftwerk on American soil? Seems too big a deal.

Well yes, and reading the article it says he played the festival in 2008, 2009, 2010 and 2011. So either he speaks from experience or he's a bit of a hypocrite. Deadmau5 also has a bit of a reputation for getting pissed off with...pretty much anything and holding grudges too. So I'm inclined to take his comments with a pinch of salt. His statements about exclusivity would seem to rule out the chances of anyone in Miami getting to see NO at a proper NO gig in a venue, which isn't great for Miami NO fans.
