Yeah was thinking that myself the other night. Once i'd got over the relief that the recording wasn't made on a hand held recorder or a mobile phone on further listening Temptation is a bit... well not everything going on in the song stands out on its own, it clogs together into one big mush a bit. Still, glad to have the recording of the gig, can't complain
People are forgetting the fact that, it's just a gig on a 2CD, it's not really a live album. There is a big difference between the 2.
I would be VERY wary of ordering from Sandbag. The cover to mine is creased all over the place and the gatefold has that tell-tale imprint of the CD's where they have been rammed together and distorted the print. If I pay £20.50 for a CD I don't expect to look like it's been left in the back of a junk shop for a decade!
I've emailed Sandbag. Have some pictures of the damage, and please ignore the Vegemite in the photos. My partner likes it, it is a rotten condiment.
front cover creased top left and right
inside creased with CD imprint
gatefold more than a little creased on two of three folds.
THESE ARE CDR'S, by the way. The writable side of the CD's are silver, so could fool you, but the giveaway is the production number printed on the CD inside rim.
I've emailed Sandbag, and hoepfully they will send me a replacement cover.

I have 2 year old twins. The sleeve on my cd resembelled these pictures within an hour of receiving it.!
I have a two year old, and the way to survive it is to move it very quickly into the SECRET ROOM OF MUSIC.

Wise words Mr Reed ![]()
Mine arrived, sleeve is creased and torn. I will upload a picture when I can and will be sending them an E-Mail for replacement.
I would accept if it was any old CD but this one is special! ![]()

So the lads are selling rubbish these days!
On the other hand, nothing has changed since the remasters.
With all due respect, are you holding Steve, Barney and Gillian responsible for the CD not being packed properly?
Can't speak for anyone else but mine arrived in mint condition. No issues here at all. The CDs themselves are free of any mastering problems so this is not like the remasters at all.
Was the jiffy bag damaged? If so, this could easily be Royal Mail's fault handling the package without due care. It does happen.
In any case I would just pop it back in the jiffy bag and send it back for a replacement. I'm sure they will be reasonable if you get in touch via email.

With all due respect, the provider of the photos did not give an explanation. My impression was that the packaging of the CD itself was shoddy. On the other hand, someone else complained about only receiving Disc 2. Either way, quality control is still an issue.
Here is the relevant info from my Email receipt:
If you have a query regarding your goods or this e-mail then you can e-mail orders@sandbag.uk.com or phone/fax us on helpline calling from UK 0118 956 9183 outside UK +44 118 956 9183
To anyone with CD2 or damaged sleeve problems just get in touch with them.
I've sent them an E-Mail, got an automated response saying they will contact me within 48 hours. Here's hoping.
At risk of being sued for slander by her majesty's Royal Mail we deal with them at work day in day out and they can be a nightmare. Sorry Monty ![]()
Got my download last night, just waiting on the CD. 586 sounds amazing back to back with the recording I've heard of LA BATACLAN.

I have looked them up before on the net, and seen a lot of complaints about the products eg, cd missing, not playing, not getting their order. I think it's part and parcel of the company. Nothing to do with the bands of course.

Except the band or their management chose to use that company.

Ordered mine on Dec 22 but I don't expect mine to arrive until feb, keep in mind the site says they ship in the first week of Jan and it is only Jan 5th today...factor in shipping from UK to Aus, perhaps emailing is a little premature?
Or, to put it another way....it's been less than a month since the actual gig...
