That is utterly bizarre, that definition of a live album... what is a bootleg then? Not a real live album? You would prefer a fake "fixed up" live album, like Rush does? Bootlegs are much more interesting, one just hopes that the sound is halfway decent. This instant live CDs are just a way to make money off of something that would be bootlegged.

You thik Rush ae the only ones that overdub their supposed 'live' albums, everyone does KISS, U2, New Order etc etc.

I'm not a fan of live albums, they are too ironed out, much prefer bootlegs, be it they are hit and miss sound quality wise.

http://www.mojo4music.com/blog/2012/02/win_signed_new_order_cds_1.html Win Signed New Order CDs! The CD is signed by Bernard Sumner, Gillian Gilbert and Stephen Morris plus newer guys Phil Cunningham and Tom Chapman, who's playing bass in the absence of Peter Hook. "It's not just me, Gillian and Steve," comments Bernard. "We're the ones that've been around the longest, but the group is comprised of Tom and Phil as well. People tend to ignore them, which is wrong!"

Perhaps the postman borrowed it for a while.

I just did a return trip Salford/Durham, so decided to take the Troxy gig out for a run in the car.

Fuck me, Temptation is good. Better even than the Reading98 version.

Driving up the A1 with a big daft grin on my face. Get in!

That will be NOOLigan's final posting for a very very long time...He's at my place now listening to troxy CD & been catching up on all NOOL's forums using my comp. His reason for going AWOL was his work restricted his internet access & his own comp gone belly up in smoke..:D
