It's rotten. Avoid at all costs. I too paid about £17 for it from the import section at Tower about four years ago. Rank!

Blue Order was the only NO tribute album i've ever bought, I also felt like I wasted my money. Are there any NO tribute albums out there that you guys would recommend? Or are they all complete crap?

Glad to hear it blows... on another note "A Means To An End" - the Joy Division tribute is pretty good - at least 75% really good. I am not one for tributes, but Means is pretty sweet.

I liked means to an end also. I especially like the version of walk in line. Unfortunatly, someone broke into my car, and stole my CD player which had MTOAE in it.

That sucks... actually, more specifically, people suck - I hope they were at least a fan and enjoyed the CD

What do you like about it? I have heard over and over how terrible it is...

It's the biggest pile of rip-off shite I've ever encountered, and I've worked in three different record shops.

There ARE, however, some reasonable tributes around.

Another negative vote for the blue order. I was so disappointed. :(

Is there any New Order purist (prefers original versions instead of remixes) out there who could recommend a really good NO tribute album? Something along the quality of "A Means To An End"? I am not one for tributes, but "Means" was good. I have heard SO much terrible info about Blue Order that I will never bring myself to even listen to it. If I want to throw up, I drink lots of straight Vodka.
